Success With Adsense – 5 Quick Tips
As you use Google's AdSense for more and more time you begin to learn from the mistakes of the past, and you slowly begin to realize which of your actions kept your site from reaching its full potential. But an important part to making a mistake is telling people about it and teaching them how to avoid making the same mistake. You need to also learn from you mistake. So this is a list of the top five mistakes people using AdSense make. You should read them well, and see if any of them is pertinent to your contents. If it is, you must stop and attempt to fix such errors as quickly as possible. The first major mistake that everyone seems to be hitting at one point or another has to do with breaking the rules. Google's AdSense is a great program but it relies on you respecting a few set rules. The most important thing is not to create "false clicks" through any means possible. Never click your own links, never ask your friends or close ones to click the links and never, by any means have your content encouraging the visitors to click the links. You run the risk of being permanently banned, and that will definitely damage your revenue. Failing to comply with Google's terms could have your AdSense account suspended. And this is why this rule is by all means the most important one of all. It's because this is the difference between life or death.
The second thing users get wrong a lot of time is having a bad color palette for ads. Many times this happens because the publishers aren't well-informed enough to change default color palettes. Others just can't seem to spend enough time in changing those defaults. Having bad ads that stand out is sure to push people away from clicking; whilst having something which is clearly visible yet distinctive will.
Third, of course, the position of the ads is probably the key element you should get right if you want to maximize your profits with AdSense. This is noted in a lot of places on the web and Google talks about this as well. Google can provide you with statistics which illustrate what positions work particularly well on your website.
Fourthly, banner ads are also a very bad idea if you're using AdSense. 480x60 type ads are a sure way to drive many people away as most Internet surfers have developed a natural resistance to such means of advertising.
And number Five and the last, but clearly not least, is not taking care of the site running the ads. Because ultimately it doesn't matter how cool the site is itself. If it doesn't have updated contents and a lot of daily visitors it will probably never earn you any serious AdSense revenues. So these are the most important five things people get wrong while using the AdSense program. But of course if you don't like this means of expressing the issues, here are the top five things you should do to ensure your AdSense ads are constantly bringing in that revenue. Never break Google's policy. Don't make visitors create "artificial clicks" on your website regardless of the person doing so or the reason. Make sure your ads have the right colors that blend in with your site, and make sure they're located in the right places to attract as many customers as possible. Always try to avoid using banner-like (480x60) adds unless you really know what you're doing and constantly keep your site fresh and up to date. So with that in mind you should be raising your AdSense revenues in no time.

Make money in 15 minutes!?
Well the thing is, the owner of Google Snatch is NOT a guru. Simple down to earth guy who just knows what to do to make money online! Best of all are the techniques he uses to dominate not only a niche market but also markets that have thousands of competitors owned and run by large corporations. He implements his own techniques and actually, in one word, hammers his competition. No Google Adwords to cheat, as each click costs an expensive $100. As at the end of the day, the bigger the market, the bigger the competition, so more spending power! Now millions are afraid to compete in big markets because the people (companies) who have the money CAN demolish their competitors. But what he tells you is, BIG companies have more money than sense.
There is no need to spend thousands of dollars to make money online. If you have the right formula, (The FREE Click Formula) then why waste money on paid clicks. The problem with paid advertising, whether its Google, Yahoo or MSN, you can get high placements almost instantly, but whose clicking on your ads? I mean whose accumulating a large bill at the end of the month for you? Your competitors? Happy clickers? Or actual real customers? The work involved is just as much as setting up a Google Adwords campaign. Since the Google Slap came to the scene, it was made clear that for each keyword you bid on it requires a unique page, as a must, to achieve good popularity ranking. So the idea is simple, yet thousands think, actually MILLIONS think, Adwords is quicker? It takes 15 minutes for the world to see your listing! But in order to get to those 15 minutes, it takes the same time to find the keywords, create the landing page and to get the campaign on its feet.
Overall you could say it takes maybe 60 to 90 minutes, maybe more. Once this is setup, people will actually start seeing your ads AFTER 90 minutes as the work needs to be done beforehand. Now for the alternative, inside Google Snatch! It takes 60 minutes for the world to see your ad, PLUS you don’t pay a single cent on a click. Yet to that matter never will you ever again pay for a click once you discovered these techniques. So this you could say is the REAL gets your Google ads for free! It was suppose to be priced at $997, but at present it’s next to NOTHING! So go over to the website now before your competitors use this method on you.
http://viralurl.com/dbbush/Google-Snatch never pays for Google ads ever again and let the world see your site within 60 minutes!
To your success, Donald Bush

New ways to Advertise for Free
By Donald Bush
Advertising for free seems like an impossible thing when heard. But there are several ways by which the cost of advertisement can be conserved, with the help of some imagination and creativity.
A business wanting to advertise, can write articles related to their field of expertise that can be submitted to media and publications having interest in that particular field. The advertising article can have information about the company and dealership opportunity. Due to the rise in Internet users and websites, new websites have sprung up which offer free services. Articles can be written for these websites and they can be broadcasted for free, which will be viewed by hundreds of people everyday.
Once the business has gained some recognition, within no time it will gain popularity also among the crowds. This popularity can lead to them being invited on radio and television talk shows and even to interviews. Such kind of opportunities shouldn’t be missed as they provide a chance for free promotion. If it is taking a long time to get a break, the producer can be addressed with a letter that can be followed up by a telephone call or in-person visit. During the visit, the nature of expertise can be discussed about the business, which will be of interest to the viewers of the particular channel. Once a businessperson gains the status of being public-friendly, more offers start pouring in.
Free bulletin board located in the neighborhood, like in grocery stores, libraries, and salons, are another good idea. Advertising circulars can be posted on such boards for free. Circulars for mass distribution can be handed out at the mall, shopping center, bus stops, particularly on weekends when there is a big rush. Students can be hired on part time basis for this purpose.
Promotional advertisement can be printed on the envelopes used by the business firms. Both the sender and the receiver can view this advertisement. Promotional offers can be sent to customers by postcards, which should be utilized to its full, leaving only place left for writing the address.
Some of the new mail order publications offer free first time and seasonal deductions for advertisers. Other publications offer pay per inquiry space. Inquiries can be made about stand-by space, which means that the publication holds the submission of advertisement until the space is not sold and in that case, thirty three percent saving can be achieved. Usually local newspapers provide these kinds of offers.
If the business is involved in ad sheet or catalog publishing, other publishers can be contacted for the purpose of bartering an advertising exchange. They can place advertisement in their publication, in return for placing their advertisement in the business’s publication.
Free offers can be provided to the customer. This can be done by emailing or printing newsletter about information regarding the area of interest of the targeted customers and can be made popular by using tag lines. Attach a free coupon with it, which the customers can use it for shopping, if a criterion is met like minimum purchase of $ 50. By this the response will be huge and most of them will purchase something or the other to avail the free offer. The basic ingredient for advertising for free is imagination and research. Opportunities should be searched and a strong working force should be applied to increase the sales.

How Adsense has Changed the Internet (For the Better)
By Donald Bush
Ever since Google came up with the master idea that is AdSense, the web has transformed in a variety of ways no one would have ever suspected. Some of these are good changes others aren't.
This is a small exploration of how a brilliant marketing scheme has taken the web by storm. It deals with the changes advertisers and publishers and even website visitors have undergone ever since AdSense has become a daily part of our on-line lives.
Even before AdSense came out a lot of people were advertising through AdWords. It ensured a lot of exposure through getting your site listed at the top in Google search queries. It took away a lot of the pain and price of SEO and the large amount of time you had to wait until you were finally on top. It made launching a website, a realistic way to instant profitability instead of a long term strategy with no instant returns.
Through the use of AdSense, the possibility appeared of having your ads appear on just about any site on the Internet that has anything that even resembles your company is all about. And so it's for that reason that AdSense has brought a new sense of advertising to the Internet. Before PPC poorly ranked web pages had to advertise offline to get any real initial exposure.
Companies no longer have to hire costly professionals to create extremely elaborate advertising campaigns. There are no high costs of running your ads on websites which you have to personally look for.
All you do is come up with a couple of meaningful words for your business, sign up with Google AdWords and let Google take care of the rest of the equation. Although it requires day to day management automation saves significant time for advertisers.
Of course, probably the largest change in the way the Internet works due to AdSense comes from the publishers' point of view. While one would previously have to jump through many hoops to get a website to even support itself now people are making fortunes off their sites. This leads to motivation for content, and resources for web surfers.
That generally means site publishers have to worry more about what content lies on their site, and the overall way their pages look rather then be concerned with the economic specifics of maintaining a site’s profitability. Although time is invested in adsense, a large capital investment is not.
It's no surprise that the blogging phenomenon exploded when AdSense came out a few years ago. Anyone could just write a page about a subject he was passionate about and making a living out of it through AdSense.
And thirdly, one can't ignore the impact AdSense has had over the casual everyday web surfer. Whereas people used to not even notice banners altogether (which psychologically is a very interesting thing to observe) the situation is completely different for text ads.
People nowadays will take a long look at a sponsored ad. Why? Well because the whole setup brings forth a sense of confidence about the advertiser. People don't ignore a text ad as easily as they do a graphical banner.
Another thing to note is that graphical banners have become even less profitable in this day and age. It is because of this that many people are walking away from affiliate type networks to AdSense.
Of course, there are bad effects as well, with people making websites solely for the purpose of running AdSense on them and just as well, with a large phenomenon of 'click fraud', people creating artificial clicks for various reasons.
But Google does try to control such behavior, and really isn't to be blamed for such individuals' actions. All in all Google AdSense is transforming the way the Internet works and it's doing so mostly in a good way.
Now those with ideas can write them down, and make money from them। Those looking for content can find it easier, and those looking to catch the attention of a customer base can do so in a targeted way. Adsense has changed the internet through supporting the economic interests of businesses, and the utility of consumers.

Great Tools for Adsense
If you're just beginning your first AdSense experience, and looking to find a immediate way to make the profits you've seen all being pulled of all over the Internet, you might be interested in a couple of tools.
These software tools are designed to aid AdSense publishers in getting a better understanding on how traffic flows through their site. Some will help you in perceptive which keywords gain you more money and which locations give you the best AdSense payment.
One of the best such tools available is AdSense Gold (http://www.profitbooks.com/go/astracker) which allows you to have a better understanding of which ads and formats actually get more clicks and which are practical or nearly useless.
This program works by tracking views and clicks on all the publisher's pages. It even goes as far as offering you the chance to see which referrer each visitor came in through.
There's a free tool called SynSense (http://www.singerscreations.com/RSS/Posts/235.asp) which is more of an AdSense monitoring tool. This sits in the tray and offers actualized AdSense stats as you hover your mouse over its icon. It's a very nice tool for those which like to be informed on how their AdSense is doing at all times of the day.
Google provides you with stats in a csv format on their site. So someone made a tool that can automatically download such files and extract a lot of information from them. The name of this tool is CSV AdStats and it is available from http://www.nix.fr/en/csvadstats.aspx?q=download
It has a large number of features, including the possibility to highly customize reported stats, exporting data and charts to other formats. It's in French but the language can very easily be changed to English.
Of course any tool can only access these stats as often as 15 minutes but the authors are well aware of that fact and none of these tools will get you in trouble with Google because of that.
If, however, you're browsing content most of the time, and your tool of choice is the Firefox Internet browser, there's an extension for this program that allows you to view the stats in your status bar.
Again, this software is aware of Google's 15 minute rule and enforces its usage, 15 minutes being the minimum time between updates. The Google AdSense notifier for Firefox can be obtained from http://code.mincus.com/?p=3

How to write good advertising content
To write successful advertisement content is to catch the attention of the customer at first sight as they flicker though the brochures and fliers like they flip through a magazine and not how they will read books with concentration. It need not be necessary that the customer reads each and every line of the advertisement; hence, each line should be effective and should pass out a message. So it’s not only necessary to write logical matter, but it should also be creative enough.
Firstly, only relevant and specific matter should be written in the ad. Some content writers fear missing out information and write as much as they can. This will only disinterest the customers more and space will be wasted. The writing style should be related to the type of flier or brochure that is to be written. Its usual for the reader to read skipping lines in between and there is a possibility that they will read it from bottom to top. It always helps to use words that sell. But still, the content should be properly organized with the heading at the top, body in the middle and conclusion at the end. The main points can be written as sub-headings, in bold font. The body following the sub-heading should discuss the sub-heading and if it is related to any other sub-heading, even those points should be discussed. If the product is to be discussed from the technical point, it should not be so technical that it sounds like a foreign language to a common man.
Chucking is another technique that can be used. Chucking is writing small stories with conclusion at the end. They can either have or not have connection between themselves. Its better if they aren’t connected, because it won’t require the reader to go back to a previous chunk in order to understand the present chunk he is reading. This works quite well when there are pictures in the advertisement and the chunk illustrates the picture. The two-dimensional picture is speechless unless some well-chosen words talks about it and motivates the customers. Obviously, while chucking, sub-headings can be used to let out critical information. Another point to be considered is the product or company about which the content is based on. Suppose if the brochure is related to a corporate, the style of writing should be formal.
Spelling mistakes should be avoided to the maximum extent. They reflect poor quality and bring bad reputation to the client. The design should speak clearly and loudly about the organization being discussed. Unclear, cluttered and illogical information creates an illusion that the company also has the same characteristics. Catalogues are the only source of advertisement for some businesses, because of low investments. Such kind of business catalogues won't require much writing, just product description will do. Instead one can work on the font sizes, colors, etc.
The next step should be writing information about contacts so as to buy the product; detailed forms are big turn-off. Contact information, postal address and website URL should be clearly specified. Also include whether the business accepts cash, check or credit card. Another thing to be taken care of is the contact information, which is usually written on the forms, which have to be mailed. It is better to write them on the advertisement also so that the customers can save it for future reference.
After the final content is written, it’s the time for organizing it. Depending on the demand of the products, arrange them in hierarchy, especially when designing a catalogue because each of the products should get the consideration and attention they deserve.
It is a good habit to write down procedures, which have been applied to every kind of advertisements written. And also save the information like what customers were targeted with what kind of advertisements, to use to the same kind of logic the next time to similar customers. This helps to create a blueprint for a future job.

Writing a good headline for your advertisement
By Donald Bush
-----------------------------------------------------
Years ago I learned that the key to grabbing your reader’s attention was to start your article with a bang!
--------------------------------------------------------------
There is no denying the fact that the success of an advertisement lies mostly in the headline. The headline should attract the reader and make him read the rest of the advertisement. The headline should be simply catchy and various key points should be embedded when deciding on the headline for the ad.
The headline should catch attention of the eye at the first glance. Words in headlines should act as tags for the advertisement. It should say it all about the content that follows. If a company is selling reasonably priced furniture, the headline of their advertisement should be ‘Durable furniture for less price’. This headline will attract the right customers who are on a look out for durable furniture as well as low cost furniture. If the customers to be reached belong to a category that are interested in decorating their house with beautiful furniture and aren’t concerned about the price to get the right look, then the headline can be ‘Change how your house looks by our oriental furniture’. Anything other than the prospects should not be included in the headline. If both men and women can use a product, both of them should be referred to in the title, missing out even one of the category is like losing a huge number of potential customers.
The title should be instant product seller. According to a research, five times more readers read just the headline when compared to those who read the complete advertisement. So the investment is of no use, if the title isn’t good enough to sell the product. There can be a possibility that the content of the ad isn’t strong enough. All the harm can be undone by having a powerful headline.
The headline should be centered on the product and not the company that is selling the product. The customer’s interest should be reflected and he should feel that he is directly addressed. Start with ‘you’ and not ‘we’. So if the client specified on mentioning the company’s name, don’t start the sentence with it. For example, instead of writing ‘Tylenol – solution for sever cold ’, write ‘Got sever cold? Try Tylenol’. Never forget to mention the name of the product in the headline. The product name should be of top priority.
A snapshot of the benefits of the product should be given in the headline. This is an important quality of a well-phrased headline. The customers look out for advantages when he thinks of buying a product. Keywords like whiter teeth, nutritious cereals, or miraculous growth should be incorporated in the title.
If inculcating all these factors have made the headline long, it should be remembered to write the product advantages in bold. If a visual is placed in the advertisement, it will be a good complement. As a picture speak thousand words. But care should be taken that the headline should say some part of the story and the visual should say the rest. Don’t repeat the headline or the picture.
Too much of cleverness should not be applied to design a headline. There are nearly five hundred advertisements in a local newspaper on weekends. A regular reader reads the headings of all of them. He will be able to classify between a false heading and a genuine heading. No false promises or information should be included in the headline. Over smart headlines are good for award competitions, but don’t really work with the savvy customers.
The headline should give out a positive feeling to the reader. Negativity should be totally excluded as it not only creates a negative impression but the mind will also be not receptive friendly. It sometimes confuses the mind and it interprets a negative meaning of the message being delivered. Confidence should be reflected in the headline. Don’t include any doubtful words like if and but. Conditional phrases are a strict no. The sentence should be in present tense, instead of past or future.

Affiliate Marketing with a Merchant
Contacting the merchant of your interested program is
an ideal way to increase your sales, which can save
you a lot of time and heartache. Once you contact
the merchant, be sure to let them know what you are
doing to promote their products, and ask for their
advice when it comes to marketing.
The merchant will know the product the best, and
they will have a good idea of the strategies that are
being used by other affiliates to make sales. By
contacting the merchant, you'll also show them that
you are dedicated to succeeding with affiliate
marketing.
Contacting the merchant also shows your enthusiasm
for marketing their products and services. Any
merchant who knows affiliate marketing also knows
that over 90% of sales are generated by less than
5% of the affiliates. Good merchants recognize your
efforts and provide you with information and resources
and may even boost your commission rates!
Dealing with merchants
If you email a merchant and they don't respond, try
again. If they still aren't responding, you should
think again about continuing the partnership, as a
lack of communication can indicate other problems
as well - such as payment.
Keep in mind that many merchants make big promises,
and set a high payout rate knowing that very few
affiliates will actually meet it. This isn't a
good way to do business, and you should avoid
working with these types of merchants.
Communication
When you communicate with merchants, you should
ensure that you use a professional tone. If you
have suggestions of how a merchant can improve their
offers, you should let them know. Many merchants
appreciate feedback, and know that any feedback they
receive can improve their programs.
Wise merchants always understand that good affiliates
are hard to find and will treat them with respect,
assist with resources, and be prompt with payments.
Wise affiliates are the same way, and understand
that merchants want quality promotion and sales
performance.
To get the most out of your partnership, you should
always be professional and understanding with your
merchant. Good merchants are always busy, which may
make them seem like they aren't that good. They
will answer your questions and emails, although it
may take them a little bit of time.
The longer you work with a merchant, the more you'll
understand how they do things. If you are just
starting out in affiliate marketing, a merchant
can help you understand how things work. If you
listen to them and show initiative, you'll be
well on your way to making it to the top.

Where Adsense Should Appear
By Donald Bush
When deciding whether to incorporate Adsense into your website there are several factors to consider. Many feel that it diminishes their brand, whilst others see it as a useful tool for visitors which creates revenues and makes their content profitable.
The choice can largely come down to the commercial goals and the purpose of your website. Many businesses who sell products decide to place Adsense adverts within their website. This would appear to be a strange choice, opening up opportunities for rivals to promote their service or product to your potential customer base.
Many publishers claim that they are only doing this to allow companies who provide ancillary services to advertise. These claims have some merit, as those who for example sell pillows could provide those who sell bedding with an opportunity to advertise.
Although this would make sense, there are still those online retailers who allow rivals to penetrate their audience. Many claim that there are still benefits in allowing your direct competitors to advertise within your website. One of these is that ultimately if visitors wish to see your competitors they would be able to see them through a Google search regardless. This may be true however the thought of an established brand like coco-cola having a Pepsi advert in their website is not even a possibility.
Another factor which is considered in this situation is that publishers do not feel that Adsense is effective in making conversions. They feel that visitors who would click on adverts are not highly qualified customers, as they would quickly navigate to the materials or products that interest them if they were.
Despite Adsense being a questionable choice for online retailers, it is surely a good supplementary service for other varieties of online publishers. For example, a website which provides a free service like dictionary.com gets high levels of traffic, and is able to make their service profitable through adsense. This has been the case for Bloggers who originally provided content free of charge, being unable to reach the scale that is necessary to contract with advertisers directly.
This could also apply to other previously free services, including wider forms of information broadcast, and news for example. In 2006 a man who later published a selection of Videos claims to make $19,000 a month through adsense, claiming that he was also contacted through Google to help him increase the CTR (Click Through Rate) that he achieved. The thought of success like this has been a major factor in stimulating online publishers to opt for Adsense.
Many publishers also claim that adsense makes their website look more professional. Those who are able to contract with advertisers are generally seen to provide a service with large appeal, and therefore those unfamiliar with the program may feel that the Adsense advertiser is in this position.
Adsense however, is also aligned with those publishers who use the service purely to provide links to adverts. Everyone has done a Google search, clicked on an Adwords advert and came into a website which reads top ten resources on… This is a major problem, as is generally something that surfers find frustrating. If people see that it says adverts by Google, and they then see adverts by Google on another site, they may align that site with consumer unfriendly practices. This is therefore an issue which Google has to address, to maintain Adsense as a reputable service.
Regardless of the disadvantages and the websites for which the service may be inappropriate it is still a useful tool for website visitors. Those who visit a website, and click on a link provide revenues for the publisher, whilst those who provide free services are able to generate revenue.
The only fear that Google has, is that rival PPC programs offer better deals to publishers and they decide to go elsewhere, therefore taking advertisers with them. However, ultimately it is best for advertisers and publishers if they largely remain in same PPC circuit.

Effective or Irritating: The Use of Pop Windows in Internet Marketing
Internet Marketing
By Donald Bush
A few years ago, pop-up windows were all the rage in
Internet marketing. It seemed that every time one
opened a web page they would be bombarded with offers
for this or that. It had gotten to the point where
surfing the Internet was almost like playing a video
game; when the ads would pop-up one would try and
close them out before another one came. This is
precisely why we have seen the decline in the use of
pop-up windows on the Internet today; surfers simply
do not even look at the pop-ups anymore. They close
the windows out before even reading the ad. Very
often, a surfer will even leave your site if there are
too many pop-up ads. They simply do not want the
hassle of closing those windows while trying to obtain
the information that your site has to offer. This
information, while valuable, is not as valuable as the
surfers time. Studies have shown however, that even
with these set backs, pop-up windows are still an
effective method of Internet marketing.
Is there some way that pop-up windows can be less
irritating and still be effective? Yes! What if the
pop ad were seen upon exiting your site instead of
entering? This would allow the surfer to obtain the
information that they need from your site, feeling
that they were able to come and go quickly without
being hassled by other ads and offers all the while
making the surfer happy. You have left the surfer
with a positive attitude and therefore are more likely
to respond to the pop advertisement. This is being
accomplished more and more by using what is being
called pop-under windows. When the surfer comes to
your site, the ad is opened discretely behind the your
web page. Then, upon leaving your site, after
obtaining all the information that they need , will
see the ad and therefore be more likely to respond.
Since the surfer has the information, he has achieved
his objective and is now open to do other things;
ideally respond to the pop under advertisement.
Not all pop-windows are created equally. There are
some things that you can do to make your pop-windows,
whether pop-up or pop-under more effective. The
pop-window should be easy to “escape” from. If the
surfer does not want to see the add, but has a hard
time closing it out, they will likely become
frustrated and could leave your site all together.
You should either use a button to that will allow the
surfer to close the window or be sure that the “x” is
easily visible. Another good idea is to use a script
that utilizes cookies. Cookie will prevent
pop-windows from overloading the surfer since you can
decide the frequency of the pop-windows, rather than
each time a page is opened. Also be sure that there
is no more than one pop-window per page.
When creating a pop-window, you will be asked to fill
out a short information form, select the length of
cookies, and choose the layout of the pop-window.
When choosing the design of the pop-window, you can
increase the effectiveness by creating a large
headline that includes benefits that will be most
appealing to the customer. You should also consider
using incentives and lastly do not ask the customer to
read a long and drawn out advertisement. Keep the
message simple yet powerful and your pop-ads will be
sure to generate profits for your site.
